UVALDE SHOOTING VICTIM FAMILIES

On May 24, 2022, the world was shaken by the devastating shooting at Robb Elementary in Uvalde, Texas, which claimed the lives of 21 children and teachers. Though out of state at the time, Kym Rapier immediately called her team into action.

Within days, Kym’s Angels Foundation committed $2 million to provide direct financial support to the families of the victims. Each family received a $40,000 grant, hand-delivered by Kym and Glenn during an emotional visit to Uvalde. They met with grieving parents, hugged survivors, and stood shoulder to shoulder with those experiencing unfathomable loss.

Additional support was provided to victims hospitalized after the tragedy, as well as to mental health organizations providing long-term counseling and community care. The Foundation has returned to Uvalde over 30 times since the tragedy—proving that true compassion means showing up, again and again, long after the cameras leave.
