Foundation history
Kym Rapier-Verette has long been one of the most generous and quietly impactful philanthropists in America. With over $100 million directed to charitable causes over the course of her life, her support has helped build cancer centers, fund children’s homes, deliver disaster relief, rehabilitate wildlife, and fuel education, health, and environmental programs across the globe.
Her journey began not in adulthood, but in childhood—where she was spearheading efforts to raise money for medical research while still in middle school. That early spark has since grown into a lifelong mission, guided by empathy, decisiveness, and a deep sense of responsibility to those most often overlooked.
