TEXAS GRANDPARENTS RAISING GRANDCHILDREN (TXGRG)

In 2019, Kym's Angels Foundation began supporting Texas Grandparents Raising Grandchildren, a one-of-a-kind nonprofit dedicated to helping grandparents raising their grandchildren due to abuse, neglect, or abandonment. Most of these grandparents live on fixed incomes and struggle to provide for additional family members without assistance.

Kym was the first major donor to believe in the organization’s mission and provided essential funding to expand their reach. Today, TXGRG offers financial aid, educational resources, and emotional support to families across South Texas, including newly established efforts in Houston.

Most recently, Kym’s Angels helped fund the TXGRG annual conference, bringing together caregivers from across the state for training, connection, and celebration. Thanks to Kym’s support, many children have been able to stay with their families rather than being placed in the foster system—a gift of stability, safety, and love.
