REDEEMER’S PRAISE CHURCH

Redeemer’s Praise Church, led by Pastor Shetigho Nakopodia, stands as a beacon of hope in one of San Antonio’s most underserved neighborhoods. Originally from Nigeria, Pastor Shetigho transformed a rented space on the East Side into a 7-days-a-week mission—offering food, clothing, counseling, and spiritual care to anyone in need.

Impressed by her tireless efforts and dedication to community upliftment, Kym Rapier gifted $500,000 through Kym’s Angels Foundation to help build the new Love Community Center—a multipurpose facility with a large kitchen, showers for the homeless, GED and computer classes, employment resources, and more.

When complete, the center is expected to serve over 600 individuals weekly, creating a lasting legacy of dignity, empowerment, and community.
